Delete a user

You can delete one or more users in one go.

Prerequisites

You have a global role with the User Administration or the System Administration global permission, for example Sysadmin.

Steps

The steps in this procedure are different for the classic and refreshed navigation.

  1. In the main menu, click , then Settings.
    The Collibra settings page appears.
  2. Click Users and groups.
    The users and groups settings appear on the Users tab page.
  3. Do one of the following:
    If you want to...Follow these steps
    Delete a single user
    1. In the row of the user that you want to delete, click .
      The Delete user dialog box appears.
    2. Click Delete user.
    Delete more than one user
    1. Select the check boxes in front of the users that you want to delete.
    2. In the action toolbar, click Delete.
      The Delete <number> users dialog box appears.
    3. Click Delete <number> users.
    One or more users are deleted.
    If a deleted user posted any comments, those comments remain in the system but without an associated name.
