Customize tiles
If you want a set of tiles to show only the information you need about the assets, you can change several aspects of the tiles.
Add fields to a tile
A tile in a set shows a default set of fields. You can, however, add more fields to the tile.
Note You can also show responsibilities as a field.
Steps
- Do one of the following:
- Open a view in tile display mode.
- Open an asset page with related assets shown in tile display mode.
- Click

The Edit Fields dialog box appears. - Click Select Fields.
The Select Fields dialog box appears. - Select the checkboxes next to the fields you want to add to the tile.Tip You can use the Search box to quickly find a field.
Note If the type of the domain is not part of the assignment of the asset types it contains, you cannot select attributes or relations fields.
- Click Update.
The Edit Fields dialog box appears. - Optional: Edit the field name and order of the fields.
- Click Save.
Show responsibilities in a tile set
Tiles can show the responsibilities of a resource per role. If you enabled inherited responsibilities in Collibra Console, you can see the inherited responsibilities. Inherited responsibilities have a gray background and direct responsibilities have a white background.
Steps
- Do one of the following:
- Open a view in tile display mode.
- Open an asset page with related assets shown in tile display mode.
- Click

The Edit Fields dialog box appears. - Click Select Fields.
The Select Fields dialog box appears. - Select one or more roles.Tip The Roles tab shows all the roles.
- Click Update.
The Edit Fields dialog box appears.Tip If you enabled inherited responsibilities in Collibra Console, you can select Show inherited responsibilities to show inherited responsibilities. - Click Save.
Change the field order
You can change the order in which the fields are shown in a set of tiles.
Note The community-domain breadcrumb will always appear at the top of the tile, followed by the asset name, status, and report image (if an image was uploaded for the asset).
Steps
- Do one of the following:
- Open a view in tile display mode.
- Open an asset page with related assets shown in tile display mode.
- Click

The Edit Fields dialog box appears. - Hover your pointer over the field you want to reposition.
and a drop-down list appear.
- Do one of the following:
- Drag
to the required position.
- Click the drop-down list, and then select one of the following options.
Option Description Move to top Moves the current field to the top. Move to bottom Moves the current field to the bottom. Move to before > [select a field] Moves the current field to the position immediately preceding the selected field.
- Drag
- Click Save.
Edit a field name
You can edit the names of the fields shown in a tile.
Steps
- Do one of the following:
- Open a view in tile display mode.
- Open an asset page with related assets shown in tile display mode.
- Click

The Edit Fields dialog box appears.Tip The Display Name column shows the current names of each field shown in a tile. - In the Display Name column, enter the new name for the field.
- Click Save.
Remove fields from a tile
A tile in a set shows a default set of fields. You can, however, remove fields from the tile.
Steps
- Do one of the following:
- Open a view in tile display mode.
- Open an asset page with related assets shown in tile display mode.
- Click

The Edit Fields dialog box appears. - Click
next to the fields you want to remove from the tile.
Tip If you want to remove several fields:- Click Select Fields.
The Select Fields dialog box appears. - Clear the checkboxes next to the fields you want to remove from the tile.
You can use the Search field to quickly find a field. - Click Update.
The Edit Fields dialog box appears.
- Click Select Fields.
- Optional: Edit the field name and order of the fields.
- Click Save.
Change the number of tiles per page
If a set of tiles contains a large number of tiles, the tiles are split into pages. You can change the number of tiles shown per page.
Steps
- Do one of the following:
- Open a view in tile display mode.
- Open an asset page with related assets shown in tile display mode.
- In the lower-right corner of the page, in the Tiles per page field, select the number of tiles you want to show per page.
