Manage Page Editor Workflows widgets

The Workflows widget allows you to add global workflows on a page, giving your users the ability to quickly and easily start workflows.

Prerequisites

You have the required permissions to edit the product page or dashboard.

Steps

  1. Go to the page where you want to add or edit a Workflows widget.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Place the widget:
    1. If this is a new widget, under Widgets, drag and drop Workflows to the desired row on the page.
    2. If this is an existing widget, select the existing Workflows widget and drag and drop it to the new position on the page.
  4. Select the Workflows widget you want to configure.
  5. In the right-side Pages panel, update the widget details:
    1. In Title, enter the name of the widget.
    2. In Description, enter a description of the widget.
      1. Select the Show description in a tool tip checkbox to show the description in a tooltip. This helps consolidate space on your page.
    3. In the Buttons section:
      1. To add a new workflow:
        1. Click Plus icon.
        2. Click the new workflow.
        3. In Workflow, select the global workflow you want to be available on the page.
        4. In the Button text field, enter the name of the workflow button your users will click.
        5. In Button type, select the type of button:
          1. Standard: A button typically used for secondary or less prominent actions. It has a visible border and a transparent background, unless the secondary button is customized via the Collibra settings. This is the recommended option.
          2. Important: A button typically used for primary or most prominent actions. It has a blue background, unless the primary button is customized via the Collibra settings.
          3. Risk: A button typically used for risky actions or warnings. It has a red background, and it can't be customized.
      2. Optional, drag and drop workflows to change the order.
  6. Optionally, select Content copy outlined icon above the component to copy and paste the component.
  7. Optionally, select above the component to delete the component.
  8. Click Publish to publish your changes.
