Edit the Data Governance Center service configuration
With Collibra Console you can configure the general Collibra Platform environment's behavior. After the installation of Collibra Platform, a default configuration is applied. If you have changed some settings, you can always go back to the original configuration by restoring the factory defaults.
Note
- Review the default settings and change them only if necessary.
- You can edit the DGC service configuration at all times even when the service is not running.
Prerequisites
- You have the ADMIN or SUPER role in Collibra Console.
Steps
- Open Collibra Console.
Collibra Console opens with the Infrastructure page. - In the tab pane, expand an environment to show its services.
- In the tab pane, click the Data Governance Center service of that environment.
- Click Configuration.
- Click Edit configuration.
- Edit the DGC service configuration options.
- Click Save all.
Tip
- You can navigate to a specific section by clicking it in the tab pane or you can search for a specific option.
- When you edit certain fields, the
icon is displayed next to it. When you click it, it displays the default value for that field and a Reset button. - If you have to restart Collibra or execute extra actions to apply the new settings, it is indicated in the user interface.
