Edit the Data Governance Center service configuration

With Collibra Console you can configure the general Collibra Platform environment's behavior. After the installation of Collibra Platform, a default configuration is applied. If you have changed some settings, you can always go back to the original configuration by restoring the factory defaults.

Note

Review the default settings and change them only if necessary.
You can edit the DGC service configuration at all times even when the service is not running.

Prerequisites

You have the ADMIN or SUPER role in Collibra Console.

Steps

Open Collibra Console.
Collibra Console opens with the Infrastructure page.
In the tab pane, expand an environment to show its services.
In the tab pane, click the Data Governance Center service of that environment.
Click Configuration.
Click Edit configuration.
Edit the DGC service configuration options.
Click Save all.

Tip

You can navigate to a specific section by clicking it in the tab pane or you can search for a specific option.
When you edit certain fields, the icon is displayed next to it. When you click it, it displays the default value for that field and a Reset button.
If you have to restart Collibra or execute extra actions to apply the new settings, it is indicated in the user interface.
