Edit the base URL
The base URL is the consistent part of the URL to access Collibra Platform, for example http://dgc.example.com.
The Collibra base URL is used for various purposes, including but not limited to:
- Constructing hyperlinks: The base URL is essential for creating direct links to Collibra resources, such as workflows, dashboards, and assets.
- Accessing system resources: The base URL is the starting point for accessing various system resources stored in Collibra, including user profile pictures and Tableau report images.
- Enabling API interactions: The base URL serves as the foundation for API calls made to the Collibra platform.
- Facilitating Single Sign-On (SSO): In environments where SSO is enabled, the base URL acts as the endpoint for authentication.
Prerequisites
- You have the SUPER role in Collibra Console.
Steps
- Open the DGC service settings for editing:
- Open Collibra Console.
Collibra Console opens with the Infrastructure page. - In the tab pane, expand an environment to show its services.
- In the tab pane, click the Data Governance Center service of that environment.
- Click Configuration.
- Click Edit configuration.
- Open Collibra Console.
- In the General settings section, edit the Base URL parameter to the base URL of your Collibra instance.Note The default value of this setting is
http://localhost:4400/. - Click Save all.
