Synchronize Snowflake Listings
Synchronizing Snowflake Listings is the process of integrating listings metadata from Snowflake and making the data available in Collibra Platform.
You can synchronize manually or automate it by adding a synchronization schedule.
Note The Snowflake Listings integration currently does not support private link connectivity to Snowflake.
Prerequisites
In your Collibra environment:
- You have Collibra 2026.06 or newer and Edge 2026.6.14 or newer.
- You have created a Snowflake connection.
- You have added the Snowflake capability to the Snowflake connection.
- To link a Snowflake listing's Data Product Port to the tables and views it shares, you have already ingested the full hierarchy of those objects (Database, Schema, Table or View) into Collibra using the Snowflake JDBC connector. If the integration cannot find a table or view, it skips that link and logs a warning. The listing itself still syncs successfully.
- You have a resource role with the Configure external system resource permission, for example, Owner.
- You have a global role with the Catalog global permission, for example, Catalog Author.
- You have a global role with the View Edge connections and capabilities global permission, for example, Edge integration engineer. For example, Edge integration engineer.
- The Data Product Port asset type doesn't have the Missing from Source status by default. If a Listings synchronization tries to assign this status to a port no longer in the source, it reports Completed with error. This error recurs on every synchronization until you resolve it. To avoid this, do one of the following:
- Manually add the Missing from Source status to the Data Product Port asset type.
- In Collibra Console, set Status validation to False (default). This setting is in the Knowledge Graph Validation group of the Data Governance Center service configuration.

Field Action Required System asset On the General settings tab, add the System asset that represents your Snowflake connection. If this asset does not exist yet, create it before you synchronize.
YesDefault domain In Default domain, select the domain that receives all listings that are not routed by a distribution-specific domain below.
YesDomain for organization listings Select a domain for ORGANIZATION listings. If left empty, organization listings land in the default domain.

Domain for external listings Select a domain for EXTERNAL listings. If left empty, external listings land in the default domain.
No
Listing states Select which listing states to ingest:
- PUBLISHED
- DRAFT
- UNPUBLISHED
All states are ingested by default.
No
Listing types Select which distribution types to ingest:
- ORGANIZATION: These listings are shared within your organization across different Snowflake accounts, also known as internal listings.
- EXTERNAL: These listings are published by your organization on the Snowflake Marketplace, making the data available to other organizations. These are also known as public listings.
Both types are ingested by default.
No
Asset deletion mode Expand Advanced settings and set the Asset deletion mode.
- Soft: Assets are archived and can be restored if the model reappears. This is the recommended mode.
- Hard: Assets are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
