After you install an Edge site or are granted a Collibra Cloud site, you can create an Anthropic connection to link your Edge or Collibra Cloud site to your Anthropic workspace. If you have more than one Anthropic workspace, create a separate connection for each.
Important A separate Edge connection is required for each Anthropic workspace. Anthropic standard API keys are scoped to a single workspace, so a key issued in one workspace cannot access another. Create one connection per workspace, each using the API key for that specific workspace.
Prerequisites
In your Collibra environment
- To use the Anthropic AI integration, you need Collibra Platform 2026.07 or newer.

You Note
If you have defined an outbound (forward) proxy on your Edge site, the integration will take that configuration into account when connecting to the AI platform. The following proxies are supported, using either a HTTP or HTTPS proxy URL:
- Pass through (No authentication)
- Pass through (Basic authentication)
- No proxy for noProxy hosts defined by Edge
This integration is not supported on Edge sites installed using a Man-in-the-middle (MITM) proxy.
- If you want to add connection values from a vault, you have added the vault to your Edge site. If your data source connection requires a file from your vault, the file must be encoded into Base64 and stored as a regular secret in your vault. For more information, go to the Vault documentation.Note Vaults are not supported on Collibra Cloud sites.
- You have a global role that has the Manage connections and capabilities global permission, for example, Edge integration engineer.
In your Anthropic environment
- You have created a standard Anthropic API key (
sk-ant-api...) for each Anthropic workspace you want to integrate. Go to the Anthropic API keys page to generate an API key.
Steps
- Open a site.

In the tab pane, click Edge.
The Sites tab opens and shows a table with an overview of your sites. - In the table, click the name of the site whose status is Healthy.

- In the Connections section, click Create connection.
The Create connection page appears. - Select the Anthropic connection to connect to Anthropic AI.
- Enter the required information.
