* Test and finalize changes using the new configuration draft mode and "save/discard changes" features. Changes are only applied after they are confirmed, ensuring greater control and accuracy during configuration.
* Set up activities, such as sign-offs and assessments, with the new *Edit activity* feature.
* Reorder different types of activities.
* Use the *Update Status (contributor)* resource permission to control who can update lifecycle statuses on assets. When lifecycle is enabled for an asset type, this permission is sufficient to change the asset status.

* A new "Priority" column in the Lifecycle tracker helps you quickly identify required lifecycle activities.
* Assessments no longer start automatically when the asset lifecycle begins. Previously, the first assessment in the first lifecycle stage started automatically.
* Decision records and decision gates are no longer available. They have been replaced by customizable sign-off activities, which you can configure for each status and specify whether they are required. 
* Optional lifecycle activities that are incomplete when you advance an asset to the next lifecycle stage are no longer carried over.

*Note*: We are updating the permissions to manually add an assessment to the Lifecycle tracker. As a result, this feature is temporarily unavailable and will be restored in the next Collibra release. In the meantime, you can still configure assessments for an asset type and start assessments via the Assessments app.
