Configure file uploads to CPSH
In general, CPSH users can upload any file of any size to CPSH, but you can define restrictions to the file uploads.
The file upload restrictions apply to the following actions in CPSH:
- Importing and exporting assets and complex relations.
- Uploading attachments.
- Importing and exporting CMA files in the Migration feature.
Prerequisites
- You have the SUPER role in Collibra Console.
Steps
- Open the DGC service settings for editing:
- Open Collibra Console.
Collibra Console opens with the Infrastructure page. - In the tab pane, expand an environment to show its services.
- In the tab pane, click the Data Governance Center service of that environment.
- Click Configuration.
- Click Edit configuration.
- Open Collibra Console.
- In the Upload configuration section, make the necessary changes.
Setting Description Max file size The maximum file size in bytes for uploads.
- For cloud environments, the default value is 512 MB or 536,870,912 bytes. This value cannot be changed.
- For on-premises environments, the default is 10 MB or 10,485,760 bytes.
Max per day The maximum number of uploads per user per day.
- For cloud environments, the default value is 1,235,465 uploads. This value cannot be changed.
- For on-premises environments, the default is 150 uploads.
Accepted content types The MIME type names of the files you want to allow for uploads.
For example, type application/pdf for PDF files.
Restricted content types Content types in MIME type format that cannot be uploaded. Restricted content types take precedence over an accepted content types:
- application/vnd.ms-excel.addin.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-excel.sheet.binary.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-excel.sheet.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-excel.template.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-powerpoint.addin.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-powerpoint.presentation.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-powerpoint.slide.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-powerpoint.slideshow.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-powerpoint.template.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-word.document.macroenabled.12
- application/vnd.ms-word.template.macroenabled.12
Attachment download This setting requires the SUPER role.
True (default): Allow the download of attachments, except for the mime-types listed in the attachment download allow list setting.
False: Do not allow downloading any type of attachment.Attachment download allow list This setting requires the SUPER role.
A list of mime-types that can bypass the attachment download restriction, for example image/bmp, image/jpeg, image/png, or image/gif. - Click Save configuration to apply the changes.
