View a workflow diagram

Each task is part of a workflow. You can open the full workflow diagram and see in which stage of the workflow the task is located.

Requirements and permissions

You have a global role with the Participate in workflow global permission.

Note Users that have a global role with the Workflow Administration or System administration permission do not require this permission explicitly.

Steps

  • Task sidebar enabled
  • Task sidebar disabled
  1. On the main toolbar, click the Tasks icon Tasks icon.
  2. Click the row of task for which you want to see the diagram. Do not click the task name or resource name as that will open respectively the task details or asset page.

    The row is highlighted and the sidebar displays the task.

  3. In the upper-right corner of the sidebar, select More icon → View in workflow diagram.

    A rendering of the current position of the task in the workflow is displayed.

Important This feature isn't available in the latest user interface.

  1. On the main toolbar, click the Tasks icon Tasks icon.
  2. Click the row of task for which you want to see the diagram. Do not click the task name or resource name as that will open respectively the task details or asset page.

    The row is highlighted and the preview pane on the right is updated.

  3. At the bottom of the preview pane, click More → View in workflow diagram.

    A rendering of the current position of the task in the workflow is displayed.
