Prepare data sources for data quality

Before you can run data quality, you must prepare your data sources by following these two critical procedures:

1. Create a JDBC connection from your Edge or Collibra Cloud site, or reuse an existing connection to a data source that is available for Data Quality & Observability.
   1. Whether you are creating a new JDBC connection or using an existing one, ensure that your data source meets the Data source-specific permissions requirements.
2. Add a data quality capability to the Edge or Collibra Cloud site connection.
