Create a basic filter
This feature isn't available in the latest UI.
If you want to customize a view to ensure that only certain assets are shown to you, you can create a filter.
Steps
- Go to a table or set of tiles containing the assets you want to see.
- Click
to open the filter pane.
- In the filter pane, click Edit.
Tip If the Switch to basic button is shown, click it.
- In the right column of the filter pane, select the characteristics you want to include in the filter.
Tip
You can do this in multiple ways:
- By entering the name of what you are looking for in the search field at the top, and then selecting the characteristic.
- By navigating the list while expanding or collapsing characteristics to find what you are looking for, and then selecting the values.
Note- For certain characteristics, you need to select the values from a predefined list, for example, Type or Status.
- For certain characteristics, you need to type one or more values, for example, Name or Definition.
- Multiple values for a characteristic are treated as an OR operator.
- All the simple conditions in a basic filter are treated as an AND operator.
- You can remove a filter characteristic by clicking
next to the filter characteristic, or you can remove a single value from a filter characteristic by clicking
next to its value.
- By entering the name of what you are looking for in the search field at the top, and then selecting the characteristic.
- Click Apply.
