How do relations in filters work?

You can refine search results in Data Marketplace and the Business Glossary and Catalog search tabs (in preview) with filters that use relation paths. A relation path is a chain of relationships between assets that enables Collibra to find assets related to a specific asset, either directly or indirectly.

For example, the Source system filter restricts the search results to data sets that are stored in a specific system.

The following table shows the relation paths of the out-of-the-box relation-based filters.
If your Collibra environment does not use one or more of these relation types, the out-of-the-box relation-based filters do not work.
