Manage statuses
Collibra comes out of the box with a large number of statuses for all the resources, for example, assets and workflow tasks. You can create, edit, and delete statuses.
Choose an option below to explore the documentation for the latest user interface (UI) or the classic UI.
Prerequisites
You have a global role with the Product Rights > System administration global permission.
Create a status
Steps

On the main toolbar, click

Settings.
The Settings page opens. - Click the Operating Model tab.
Operating Model settings are shown. -
In the left pane, click
Statuses.
A table is shown. - Click Add.
The Create Status dialog box appears. - In the Name field, enter a name to identify the status, and then click Create.
Edit a status
You can edit the name and the description of a status. The description of a status appears as a tooltip next to the status on asset pages. You can use the description to give more details about the status to other users.

Settings.
The Settings page opens. - Click the Operating Model tab.

In the left pane, click
Statuses.
A table is shown. - To edit the name: In the Name column of the status, double-click the current value, edit it, and then click
.
- To edit the description:
- In the Description column of the status, double-click the current value.
The Edit cell dialog box appears. - Edit the description, and then click Update.
- In the Description column of the status, double-click the current value.

Delete a status
You can delete a status if it is no longer used by any asset or in any kind of workflow.

A table is shown. - In the row of the status you want to delete, click
.
The Delete this <relation type> dialog box appears. - On the right of the status you want to delete, click
.
The Delete dialog box appears. - Click Yes.
The status is deleted.
