In order to avoid confusion about how the AI Trust Score’s ownership check is calculated, we are phasing out the use of the attribute type ‘Owner in source’ on AI Models, AI Agents and their versions and introducing ‘Initiating User In Source’ on these asset types. Since our AI integrations are collecting creators rather than owners, this will increase transparency and result in a more realistic understanding of the ingested information.
As a consequence, the following changes will be made to the assignments and page layouts of the relevant asset types:
* The attribute type ‘Initiating user in source' will be added to the global assignments of AI Base Model, AI Model Version, all OOTB subtypes of AI Model Version, AI Agent and AI Agent Version.
* If there are no attribute instances that fall under the assignment line (asset type + attribute type + scope)
** we will leave the Owner in Source attribute type on the assignment, but make it removable. During the 2026.08 upgrade we will completly remove the Owner in Source attribute type from the relevant assignment.
** we will add the Initiating User in Source' attribute type to the asset page layouts in the place where Owner in Source was shown
* If there are attribute instances that fall under the assignment line (asset type + attribute type + scope)
** we will not remove the attribute instances
** we will leave the Owner in Source attribute type on the assignment, but make it removable
** we will add the Initiating User in Source' attribute type to the asset page next to the place where Owner in Source is shown |

AI Governance |
|
New and improved |
|
We removed the following workflows from all customer Collibra environments:
* “Copy assessment answers to AI Use Case asset (DEPRECATED)” (process id {{copyAssessmentAnswerstoAIUseCaseAsset}})
* “Register AI Use Case“ (process id {{proposeAIUseCase}})
We originally introduced these workflows to extend the Assessments and AI Governance products but replaced them with built-in features several releases ago.
Essentially these workflows were already reduced to empty shells—a single start event pointing directly to an end event—as part of the deprecation. Critically, the workflow definition is overwritten with this empty shell on every environment restart. Since restarts occur with each monthly upgrade, any customer customization would be lost automatically and repeatedly. This makes it virtually impossible for customers to rely on customized versions of these workflows in any meaningful way. Deleting these deprecated workflows removes shells that cannot be reliably customized or maintained. |

Asset management |

|
Asset pages now include a "Show everything" switch, designed to work alongside Smart Checks and give editors and consumers a view tailored to their role. This new switch was formerly the “Show Empty Optional Values” button.
For editors and authors, the switch appears anchored in the tab area so it stays reachable while scrolling long pages. It is off by default, so that the page opens with a focused view of what matters most. Switching it on reveals all attributes, including empty and optional ones, giving a complete picture of what still needs attention. Smart Check attributes are always visible, regardless of the switch state.
For read-only users, the switch is intentionally hidden. The page automatically shows only non-empty values, multi-value attributes, and attributes with Smart checks configured, reducing clutter for users who are there to consume, not edit. |

The out-of-the-box relation index "Data Set - Column," which was previously hidden, can now be managed in the "Search settings" UI. If you remove this index, Data Sets will no longer be found based on a contained column’s name. Additionally, making the "Column" index visible introduces a matching filter facet, which is disabled by default. We recommend keeping this filter disabled. |

We have introduced a new Console setting to help manage database resource consumption during large relation update events.
Exceptionally large volumes of incremental relation updates can strain database resources, potentially causing system instability and temporarily stale data in "Search" and "Data Marketplace."
Super admins can now configure the "CDC relation event processing limit" in the Console. By setting a maximum threshold for events processed per run, you can reduce memory pressure during peak volumes, ensuring continuous system availability and data freshness. |
