We introduced Derived Relations, a new feature that shows you how one asset is related to another asset that is multiple relations away, directly on an asset page. By linking indirectly related assets, derived relations provide a broader context of your data, such as "Column → Table → Schema → Database”, so you don’t have to manually trace relations from one asset to another. Due to this feature, the existing relation type is now called explicit relation type. The new “Kind” column on the “Relation types” page in the Operating Model settings helps you identify whether a relation type is explicit or derived.
To get started, you create a derived relation type by building and testing relation paths between a head and tail asset type, using the visual relation type builder or the JSON editor. You then deploy it by assigning it to the relevant asset types. Users can then see derived relations on the asset pages. Several out-of-the-box derived relation types are already available, ready to be deployed.
Note that the Derived Relations feature is available only for Collibra Platform. You can activate the feature using the “Derived relation support” setting in Collibra Console. The feature requires additional infrastructure that is currently provisioned only in non-production environments. If you want to activate the feature in a production environment, contact Collibra Support.

We reverted the recently introduced automatic token refresh logic for Microsoft Entra ID authentication used to create technical lineage in Databricks Unity Catalog. The new authorization path required unexpected permissions to generate Personal Access Tokens (PATs), which caused integration failures in several environments. This reversion restores service stability and ensures successful synchronizations.
The automatic token refresh capability will be reintroduced in an upcoming release with an updated implementation. |

The SAP Datasphere integration now allows you to specify an SAP HANA schema name for each SAP Datasphere space. This enables the display of Data Quality scores on SAP Datasphere assets.
Note that if the remote objects in an SAP Datasphere space originate from multiple SAP HANA schemas, only assets matching the configured schema will display Data Quality scores correctly. Any assets from other schemas may result in the creation of an incorrect secondary hierarchy in Collibra. We plan to address this in a future release by automatically detecting the SAP HANA database and schema of remote objects, which will also rectify any incorrectly created hierarchies. |

The fix ensures these operations are now isolated into separate transaction boundaries, allowing concurrent asset changes and assessment approvals to complete successfully without interruption. |
