More of your Collibra metadata, such as status, ratings, tags, responsibilities, and classifications, now flows outbound to your connected systems. We have made quite a few enhancements to outbound synchronization for the following integrations.
*Databricks Unity Catalog metadata integration*:
* Public preview: You can map Collibra asset status, articulation score, average rating, Collibra tags, responsibilities, and data classifications to Databricks tags. No additional permissions required.
* Description mapping to the Databricks description field is now generally available. Additionally, it now works with both Databricks SQL warehouse and cluster connections and is supported for columns of database views.
*Snowflake outbound integration*:
* Public preview: You can map Collibra asset status, articulation score, average rating, Collibra tags, responsibilities, and data classifications to Snowflake tags. No additional permissions required.
* Description mapping to the Snowflake COMMENT field is now generally available.
*Knowledge Catalog integration*:
* Public preview: You can map Collibra asset status, articulation score, average rating, Collibra tags, responsibilities, and data classifications to Knowledge Catalog aspect fields. Additionally, outbound synchronization now attaches a mapped aspect to the entry when it isn't already attached. This may require additional permissions. * Public preview: You can map a Collibra property, such as Description, to the matching native property on your BigQuery-backed entries. You can now govern how your Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform agents connect to the rest of your AI landscape, including the models they use and knowledge sources they draw on. The Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform integration in Collibra now:
* Discovers agents built in the Agent Studio console, which were previously not cataloged.
* Links an AI Agent to the AI Model version it uses, when the agent is labeled with that model.
* Surfaces the runtime query endpoint of agents that can run as an AI Endpoint.
* Adds a usage summary (session and user counts) to the agent's latest AI Agent Version.
* Catalogs Vertex AI RAG Engine corpora and their files, so you can browse the knowledge an agent retrieves from.
* Ingests Discovery Engine data stores as AI Agent Tools, and the documents of Cloud Storage-backed data stores as File assets.
To include data stores, enable the Discovery Engine API and grant the "Discovery Engine Viewer" role in each scanned project. All other metadata is still integrated if you do not. Table-level lineage is not available for BigQuery-backed data stores because Google does not expose it. |

We fixed a few issues with the Databricks Unity Catalog metadata integration:
* The integration now adds a distinguishing suffix “(volume)” to the full name of a Databricks Volume asset when it shares the same name and schema as a Table asset. This prevents naming collisions during synchronization. If you sync again, both assets are ingested correctly and are no longer merged into one.
* The Databricks Unity Catalog synchronization now automatically retries after a transient timeout, preventing the sync from failing with a "mappingResourceAlreadyExists" error.
* The integration no longer synchronizes Column assets in excluded schemas or tables when a foreign key from an included table references them, so they are now marked "Missing from Source" like other excluded assets, and manually set statuses are no longer reset. If the referenced column already exists in Collibra, the foreign key relation is kept; otherwise, the relation is skipped and the column isn't created.
* When you synchronize Databricks Unity Catalog metadata, two or more foreign keys that share a column pair on the same Table no longer cause the synchronization to fail. Each foreign key now gets a unique identifier, so the related Database, Schema, Table, and Column assets ingest reliably instead of being rolled back with "No asset matches the specified criteria" errors. |

You can now ingest notebooks from your Databricks workspace as Notebook assets using the Databricks Unity Catalog metadata integration. To activate this feature, switch on the "Ingest notebooks (In preview)" option in the metadata inbound integration settings. You can define a root path for locating notebooks and apply include and exclude filters to scope ingestion and route notebooks into domains, independent of catalog domain mappings. Each Notebook asset captures its language, URL, owner, description from source system, and data source type. No additional Databricks permissions are required, as notebook ingestion uses the existing connection and authentication method configured for the integration. |

This reversion restores service stability and ensures successful synchronizations.
The automatic token refresh capability will be reintroduced in an upcoming release with an updated implementation. |

For asset types with Lifecycle management enabled in advanced mode, assessments started via a custom workflow or the Assessments app are not tracked in the Lifecycle tracker by default. We have introduced a new feature that activates dynamic assessment tracking, which ensures assessments appear in the Lifecycle tracker on the AI Use Case asset page under these conditions:
* The assessment template already exists in the Lifecycle tracker for the current asset status.
* The assessment template is not in the tracker, but the user triggering the assessment has the permissions required to add assessments to the tracker.
In all other cases, the assessment is not tracked in the Lifecycle tracker but remains available in the assessment relation on the asset page.
To enable this feature, set the “datagov.lifecycle.dynamicAssessmentTracking” feature flag to “true”. |

*Retake Assessment*
You can now use the "Retake” action in the activity menu for assessments that have been started or submitted. The retake is grouped with the original activity and requires only the standard "Conduct Assessment" permission, without needing a Creator license.
*Add Activity - Assessment Templates*
You can now select previously unavailable assessment templates in the "Add Activity" list and add them as ad-hoc activities to the lifecycle tracker. Once a template is added for a specific status, it is removed from the list to prevent duplicates. The limitation message has also been removed.
*Advancing to the Next Status*
For required assessments, only one approved attempt is now needed to advance to the next lifecycle status. Rejected attempts no longer block progression if a subsequent attempt is approved. |

You can now ingest Databricks metric views as dedicated Metric View assets using the Databricks Unity Catalog integration. Switch on "Ingest metric views (in preview)" in the "Metadata inbound" tab of the Databricks Unity Catalog integration settings to automatically identify and import metric views.
Metric View assets also include two new column-level attributes: Field Expression and Field Type. This gives you a more accurate representation of your Databricks data in Collibra, making metric views easier to discover and govern. |

You will receive a yearly CU allowance that resets at the start of each contract year. Automated guardrails ensure you never receive unexpected charges due to exceeding usage limits. Advanced capabilities slow down at 100% usage and are temporarily paused at 120%. Full functionality is restored either when your yearly allowance resets or when you purchase an add-on bundle of CUs.

The SAP Datasphere Catalog integration now captures an additional relation for SAP Datasphere Column assets. The "Business Asset represents / represented by Data Asset" relation type links Column assets synchronized from SAP Datasphere to their associated Business Term asset. This improves traceability and alignment between technical and business metadata. You can see this relation only if you configure extraction for both the "SAP Datasphere" and "SAP Business Glossary" tabs. |
