Select columns

Select the columns to include in your DQ job.

  1. Select from the available options.

  2. Column Description
    checkbox

    The column(s) to include in your data quality scan. You can select the checkbox option in the column header to select or deselect all columns, or select each column individually. At least one column selection is required.

    Column

    The name of the column in your table or view.

    Click the Assign chip in a Key column to uniquely identify the rows of the column.

    Note You can assign only one column as the Key column and it cannot be the column you select for outlier analysis.

    Type

    The data type of a column.

    This column is auto-filled and cannot be edited or selected.

    Note Collibra DQ supports all standard data types. Collibra DQ also supports custom data types, but this may vary depending on the data source. For more information, see unsupported data types.

    Key

    The key column whose rows have unique identifiers. This column provides context by grouping each column by the key column. When detected, breaking records are grouped to their assigned column when assigned. Optional.

    Optionally click the Assign chip to uniquely identify the rows of a column.

    Link ID

    Links the findings of a DQ job back to the source record, or key, for remediation outside of Collibra DQ. The link ID should be unique and is most commonly the primary key.

  3. Click Next to select your rows.
