Connection management allows administrators to manage the roles mapped to specific connections so that only users with those roles can access those connections.
When one or more roles are mapped to a data source connection, only users with one or all of the roles can access data from that connection. Any users without one of or all of the roles mapped to the connection are restricted from accessing it. When roles are not mapped to a connection, all users can access it.
