| Security Issue | A security incident in which sensitive, protected, or confidential data is copied, transmitted, viewed, stolen, or used by an individual who is unauthorized to do so. Security issues can involve financial information (such as credit card or bank details), Personal Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), corporate trade secrets, and intellectual property. Most security issues involve overexposed and vulnerable unstructured data, such as files, documents, and sensitive information. |
