Node management

A node is a physical server or virtual machine on which you install at least one service of a Collibra Data Intelligence Platform environment. You can install all services on one node, but keep in mind that Collibra does not support this kind of installation.

We recommend that you have 5 dedicated nodes: one for the Data Governance Center service and Search service, one for Collibra Console, one for the Repository service, one for the Monitoring service, and one for Jobserver if applicable. Make sure that you have a fast network between the nodes.

You can only manage nodes when Collibra is running on multiple nodes.

Important This section is only applicable for Collibra Platform Self-Hosted 2023.11 or newer or the on-premises Collibra Data Governance Center 5.x.
