Download a backup

To restore a backup to another environment or store it locally, download the backup:

1. Open Collibra Console with a user profile that has at least the ADMIN role.
   Collibra Console opens with the Infrastructure page.
2. In the main menu, click Backups.
   The backups page appears.
3. In the row of the backup that you want to download, click Download.

   The Download dialog box appears.

   

4. Click Download.

   Important If you started using Collibra with version 2025.01 or newer, you benefit from integrated cloud storage. The Download button generates a unique link that is valid for 60 seconds.

   A ZIP file containing the backup begins to download according to your browser settings.

What's next?

To restore the backup to another environment, upload it to that environment.
