Convert a Legacy filtering configuration
Use this tool to convert a Power BI Legacy filtering configuration to the latest filtering syntax. Paste the Legacy filtering JSON from your Source configuration, click Convert, and copy the converted configuration.
Review the converted configuration before use, especially if your existing configuration contains custom or unusual properties.
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste here is sent anywhere. It converts Legacy filtering properties to their equivalents in the latest filtering configuration (
capacityNames → capacityFilter.includedNames, workspaceNames → workspaceFilter.includedNames, excludeWorkspaceNames → workspaceFilter.excludedNames, etc.). It doesn't change what gets ingested. Always review the converted configuration before pasting it into the Source configuration field.
