Export a template

If you want to use a published custom assessment template in another Collibra environment, you can export the template and then import it into the other Collibra environment. You can use this feature when you want to import a custom template from your testing environment to your production environment.

Note 
  • You can only export custom templates that have the Published status.
  • You cannot export out-of-the-box assessment templates, but you can copy them and then export the copies.

Requirements and permissions

You have a global role that has the Assessments > Manage Templates global permission.

Use the following options to see the documentation in the latest UI or in the previous, classic UI:

Steps

  1. Open the templates page.
  2. In the Custom templates section, click the custom template that you want to export.
  3. In the upper-right corner of the page, click , and then click Export.
    The template is exported to your computer as a JSON file.

    The template is exported to your computer as a JSON file.
