Logic settings on the Template Logic tab

The following table describes the fields shown on the Template Logic tab.

Select question...

 The question that determines whether or not the action will occur.

Note In the previous example image, the "End date" question has been selected in order to show the Please enter/select the value field, which only appears once a question is selected.
2 Logical operator

All or some of the following, based on the question type of the selected question.

  • is empty
  • is not empty
  • equals (default)
  • not equals
  • any of
  • all of

Please enter/select the value

The response to the question that determines whether or not the action will occur.

Select an action to add...

The action that occurs if the conditions are met.

Note In the previous example image, the "Question visibility" action has been selected in order to show the Select question... field, which only appears once an action is selected.
5 Select question... The question that is subject to the action.

Select...

Field that determines whether or not the action (visible, editable, required) will happen.

Equals / All of

Logical operator. All or some of the following, based on the type of the selected field:

  • Empty
  • Not empty
  • Equals (default, depending on the question type)
  • Does not equal
  • Any of
  • All of (default, depending on the question type)

Value

Response in the field that determines whether or not the action will happen.

Add Condition

 Add additional conditions. This is shown only after you configure the first condition.

Select action...

Action that happens if all conditions are met.
