Register an Azure Data Lake Storage file system
You can register an Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) file system in Data Catalog.
Prerequisites
In your Collibra environment:
- You have added an Edge connection with the ADLS capability template.
- You have a resource role with the Configure external system resource permission, for example, Owner.
- You have a global role with the Catalog global permission, for example, Catalog Author.
Steps

On the main toolbar, click

Catalog.
The Catalog homepage opens. -
In the tab bar, click Integrations.
The Integrations page opens. - Click the Data source registration tab.
- In the row of the data source that you want to register, click Register.
The Register ADLS file system page opens. - Enter the required information.
Field Description Community The parent community in which the initial ADLS structure must be created. File system name The name for the ADLS file system asset. Description The description to provide extra information about the file system.
This is used as the Description attribute of the ADLS File System asset.Owner The owner name of the data in the created community. - Click Register.
An ADLS File System asset is created.
A Storage Catalog domain is created with the same name as the ADLS File System asset.
You can now connect the ADLS File System asset to the ADLS Edge connection.
