The Governance by design toolkit includes three beta features that must be enabled globally in Collibra Console before they can be configured and used in the Collibra platform.
- Lifecycle management
- Guides assets through a defined governance process from creation to publication.
- Smart checks
- Enforce metadata quality standards automatically, in real time.
- AI writing assistant
- Generates draft content to help stewards create high-quality descriptions and metadata faster.
Steps
- Open Collibra Console.
- In the left pane, click the Data Governance Center node under your environment.
The service overview page opens. - Click the Configuration tab.
- Click Edit configuration.
- Scroll to section Beta features.
- Enable the following features:
- Enable Smart Checks
- Lifecycle management
- Text attribute AI-powered writing agent assistant
- Save the configuration.
