MicroStrategy Intelligence Server is business intelligence software that connects to data sources to create and store layers of objects in the MicroStrategy metadata. For more information on MicroStrategy, see the MicroStrategy documentation.
Collibra Data Lineage currently supports two means by which to integrate MicroStrategy in Data Catalog. Both integration methods require the lineage harvester:
- Working with MicroStrategy, which is addressed in this section.
You can access:
- Microsoft SQL Server repository.
- Any local or remote PostgreSQL database. The MicroStrategy Intelligence Server has an embedded PostgreSQL repository, as its default repository. For complete information on the default, embedded repository, see the MicroStrategy repository documentation.
Important The operating model associated with this integration method remains valid; however, the new operating model is compatible only with the new integration method. - Working with MicroStrategy (NEW)(Beta)

- No longer dependent on a direct connection to the repository.
