Configure Application Settings

From the Admin Console, you can configure the application settings.

Steps

  1. Login to the Collibra DQ instance and click the gear icon in the left navigation pane.

  2. Select Admin Console.

  3. From the Quick Links page, select the Configuration tile.

    Note You can also access the application configuration settings by clicking the icon and selecting Settings.

  4. Select App Config at the top-right of the window.
  5. The following table shows the Collibra DQ app configuration settings that have been configured. You can configure the app config settings by entering values in the input fields on this page.

    Note To add a custom setting, click +Add Custom at the top-right of the page.

    App Setting Description Value Notes
    BULK_CATALOG_ON When set to TRUE, allows/disallows using the catalog feature from the Wizard in the UI.

    TRUE/FALSE

    Default: TRUE

     
    HOST_NAME Hostname of your URL. Enter the hostname in the input field.

    When you enable Include Links on the Alerts Configuration page of the Admin Console, you must also enter your host address in the HOST_NAME input field.

    JOB_LOG_RETENTION_HR When set to TRUE, enables the number of hours that the logs retain Collibra DQ Jobs. Enter the number of hours in the input field.  
    MASK_P_FLAG When set to TRUE, sets/unsets -p/-srcp masking in the UI.

    Default: TRUE

     
    PLATFORM_LOG_RETENTION_HR When set to TRUE, enables the number of hours platform logging is retained. TRUE/FALSE

    Default: TRUE

     
    PUSHDOWN_FOR_DATABRICKS When set to TRUE, you can run Databricks Pushdown Jobs.

    TRUE/FALSE

    Default: TRUE

    You must have a valid Databricks connection with the Pushdown option, selected in the Connection template.
    PUSHDOWN_JOB_ENABLED When set to True, enables Pushdown for Collibra DQ Jobs.

    TRUE/FALSE

    Default: TRUE

     
    REACT_MUI When set to TRUE, enables React MUI.

    TRUE/FALSE

    Default: TRUE

    As of the 2023.02 version, React is still in the process of full implementation across the Data Quality Collibra DQ app. As such, some pages are not yet available in the React layout.

  6. If you made changes to the settings, click Save.
