After you add a technical lineage capability for a registered data source, you can synchronize the technical lineage by updating the metadata of the data source in Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud, and in turn updating the technical lineage.
You can synchronize your technical lineage manually or create a synchronization schedule to automatically synchronize the technical lineage on a regular basis. A synchronization schedule is useful if the content of the database changes regularly.
After you synchronize the technical lineage for a data source that uses a JDBC connection or synchronize the technical lineage for a data source that uses a Shared Storage connection, you can view the summary of the synchronization.
