Roles and responsibilities

To certify a report, you have to first identify the individuals in your organization who will fulfill the various roles. You can then create the responsibilities needed to use the Certify Report workflow.

Warning Before you can certify a report, an Owner and Business Steward must be assigned on the responsibilities page of the report asset. If these responsibilities are not present, the Certify Report workflow will not start. See Create a responsibility in the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud Administration Guide.

Resource roles and responsibilities in Collibra

Resource role	Tasks	Required responsibility
Owner	Confirm ownership of a report or assign new ownership. Confirm or edit the description of the report.	A user or user group has to be assigned the Owner resource role, for the Tableau Workbook asset.
Business Steward	Confirm that all metrics are certified. Confirm the lineage between the source columns and the data attributes. Confirm data quality.	A user or user group has to be assigned the Business Steward resource role, for the Tableau Workbook asset.
