Certification levels

We recommend three certification levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. When a report is certified, the certification level attained is shown in the Certification Achieved attribute, on the report asset page.

Metric Description
Bronze
  • The Owner and Business Steward responsibilities are assigned.
  • The report has a well-written definition.
  • The report is comprised of certified metrics.
Silver

Bronze criteria, plus the following:

  • The report has lineage back to its data source.

Note  If you skip the Confirm lineage task or click Confirm without having clicked the checkboxes for all applicable columns, and then pass the data quality check, the report will attain the Silver certification level.
Gold

Silver criteria, plus:

  • The report has data quality documented on its source systems.
