Install Collibra DGC on multiple nodes

This section describes how to install the Collibra Data Governance Center services on separate nodes.

Keep in mind that you can install all services on one node or two services on one node and the others on a second node.

On Linux, you have to install PostgreSQL 11 before you start the installation of the Repository service, Jobserver service and Collibra Console. If you install two or all of these services on the same server, you only have to install PostgreSQL 11 once, but if you install these components each on their dedicated server, you have to install PostgreSQL 11 on all those servers..

Note We recommend that you install the Repository service and Jobserver service on dedicated nodes. You can install all other services on another node, provided that it has enough memory. Make sure that you have a fast network between the nodes.

Also make sure that you use the same installer version on all nodes. You can find the installer version of your environment at the bottom of the sign-in window of Collibra Console, for example 5.8.1-0
