Migrating Tableau assets to the new Tableau operating model

A key feature of the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud 2022.02 release was the ability to ingest Tableau metadata in Collibra Data Catalog and synchronize the metadata using the lineage harvester. However, this new integration method was only available to customers who did not need to migrate existing Tableau assets to the new operating model. A new migration script now eliminates that limitation.

In these guidelines, we provide an overview of:

• How to integrate Tableau metadata via the lineage harvester.
• How to use the lineage harvester to migrate your existing Tableau assets to the new operating model.
