Enable or disable hierarchies

You can enable hierarchies to display an asset table in a tree structure, or disable hierarchies to display a 'flat' asset table.

Steps

  1. Open a view in table display mode.
  2. In the content toolbar, click .
    The Configure Hierarchy dialog box appears.
  3. Enter the required information.
    FieldDescription
    Enable Hierarchy

    Select or clear to respectively enable or disable hierarchies.

     Single path
    		For each node at a certain level in the hierarchy, there is only one path to nodes at the next level.
     Multipath
    		A hierarchy in which all relations are traversed for any asset, at any depth.
    Construct a hierarchy based on the asset's relations

    Enter the relation types that you want to use for your hierarchy.

  4. Click Apply.
