Synchronize metadata via Edge

After you registered your data source via Edge, you set up the metadata synchronization to determine which assets should be ingested and you synchronize the schemas in your data source.

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Open a Database asset page.
  2. In the tab pane, click Configuration.
  3. In the Metadata extraction section, select a schema.
Tip You can search for a schema in the drop-down list or click Browse and select one or more schemas at the same time.
  4. Enter the required information.

Tip If you want to apply the same rules for multiple schemas, you can create a master schema. A master schema is indicated by *.
