Enable profiling and classification via Edge

You have to enable the profiling and classification on Edge option in Collibra Console to profile and classify your metadata via Edge.

Tip You can add only one Edge site ID to one Jobserver instance.

Prerequisites

You have the ADMIN role in Collibra Console.
You have a global role that has the System administration global permission.

Steps

1. Open the DGC service settings for editing:

   1. Open Collibra Console.
      Collibra Console opens with the Infrastructure page.
   2. In the tab pane, expand an environment to show its services.
   3. In the tab pane, click the Data Governance Center service of that environment.
   4. Click Configuration.
   5. Click Edit configuration.

   Open the DGC Configuration page.

   1. In the main menu, click , then Settings.
      The System tab page appears.
   2. In the tab pane, click Configuration.
2. In the Jobserver section, enter the required information:
   

   Setting	Description
   Profiling and Classification on Edge	The ID of the Edge site that is installed close to your data source. When you register a data source, Edge profiles and classifies the data instead of the Jobserver.

3. Click the green Save all button.
