Edit the regional settings

You can edit the regional settings for all new users by updating the locale of the environment.

Prerequisites

• You have the SUPER role in Collibra Console.

Steps

1. Open the DGC service settings for editing:
   1. Open Collibra Console.
      Collibra Console opens with the Infrastructure page.
   2. In the tab pane, expand an environment to show its services.
   3. In the tab pane, click the Data Governance Center service of that environment.
   4. Click Configuration.
   5. Click Edit configuration.
2. In the General settings section, edit the Default locale value.
   The default locale for new users. It has to contain a language code and may contain a country code.
   • The language has to be an ISO language code.
   • The country has to be an ISO country code.
   Examples: pl, en_US, nl_BE.
3. Click the green Save all button.

What's next?

From now on, every new user will have the set locale as property. The locale of existing users is not affected.

Note You cannot edit the locale of an individual user.
